Spanish shares rose on Tuesday, with the benchmark index Ibex-35 up 0.37 percent to close at 10,882.10 points.

Melia Hotels shares led rises climbing 3 percent, followed by IAG and Indra A, which rose 2.84 percent and 2.64 percent respectively.

Bankia led the fall by losing 0.65 percent, followed by AENA and Gas Natural which lost 0.48 percent and 0.44 percent respectively.
